Anyone know what brand this washer motor fits?

Would like to determine what brand(s) of washers this was intended for. I searched online using the number printed on the motor and number on box. Didn't have any luck. Box has date of 8/27/83. Label would indicate it came from Grainger. I searched on their site too and numbers didn't come up. Probably because its so old. Thought someone here might know.

Looks like a Marathon-made motor.  Let me know if there was a Grainger item number on the pick slip or shipping slip.  I can look it up on my end.

Washing Machine

Are you sure it is a washing machine motor? Pretty long shaft!

Don't know anything more about it. Its actually posted on CL as washing machine motor. Its located not that far from me. Thought if I could determine what make washer it was for it might come in handy to have on hand.

Emerson AW Washer Motor

It could be a SQ ST washer motor with that long shaft, but the seller needs to give more information.

 

In the 80s Emerson was marketing motors to fit most popular brands of washers and dryers and a few DWs through independent suppliers like Granger and Johnston and many other parts suppliers.

 

We used quite a few of these very good motors, they even sold Emerson motors to fit GE FF washers, and they were far better than the GE motors.

Speed Queen with the fluid drive? Long screws show that the motor is not mounted on the base of the cabinet. Long shaft would accommodate the pulley and fluid drive.

Just a guess; it's been a while.
