I'm trying to find out what the burner outputs are but the seller couldn't find the tag with the model number and I am not sure where it would be.

Also any comments about if this is an OK range or not are welcomed. (I know it's not the most exciting looking range.)

Thank you!

Nice!

I've always liked the styling of these ranges. I think they were basically Hardwick ranges. Has anyone tried to lift the top? It might be hinged at the rear for cleaning, and the information you're looking for might be on the sub-top.

Hardwick/Maytag gas range

Maytag bought Hardwick in the early 80s and they sold their ranges under the Maytag name for a few years. These were probably some of the last good regular gas ranges, Maytag then bought magic chef and close the Hardwick plant and went with the much crap magic chef ranges before the 80s were over.

The only thing different on this range from the Hardwick ranges is Maytag added the extra chrome rings around each burners to make it look reminiscent of their Maytag Dutch oven ranges that were sold in the 50s

Yes, as Lawrence mentioned, the model tag is under the top. You lift the top at the front and the whole top lifts off and you’ll see the sticker there on all four burners are probably the same. They’re probably between nine and 10,000 BTUs each. John
