First, Im an Appliance dealer so its technically impossible for me to sell an appliance non professionally. If this post is inappropriate please delete immediately.

This Gem was pulled from the grips of the scrapper. I figured I would save some parts but this unit is WAY too nice to part out. This DW is a gravity drain style unit. I have not done any type of refurbishing at all. I tested this machine and it works well with no leaks. I ran it several loads to be sure. It washes well.

I cant sell a unit like this at my shop because its way too old, and not very many people have a set up for Gravity drain.

$200, and the promise it goes to a good home. I can hold it for a few months if needed.

Known Defects:

The rinse aid cap is not original.
The bottom rack has some bent tines and a few Specs of rust.

is this the last of the true Hobart KAs

It's not the last of the Hobart Kitchenaid dishwashers but it's was the final design with a continuously driven single stage motor and drain solenoid. The 21 series on used a bi-directional motor that reversed for draining.

Last True Kitchenaid DW By Hobart

Would be the 21 series,

The 21 series also had the best pump and motor of any KA DW, the drain impeller assembly was built like a small disposer, no more torn up drain impellers from broken glass etc got into the drain pump.

Damaged drain impellers were a problem in every KA DW from the KD-10s on [ except of corse for the KD-10-14 with gravity drain ]

How many rinse cycles

Yes I just picked up one of these machines like new from a member here. I am interested in knowing how many rinse cycles this machine has. I know the later KA Machines went down to one post wash rinse cycle which many people said was a major drawback. I’m not sure if that happened on the 20 series or the 21 series.
