That looks like one of their new double drawer tall models, the top drawer is deper than the botom on so you can put taller plates and such in it. Introduced either earlier this year or late last fall.

It never ceases to amaze me...
...how some of these new appliances seem to have such a need for repairs in such a short time span.

I own a residential interior design firm and we have had numerous clients pull these out and trash them as they are not good at cleaning dishes at all. Great idea but bad preformance.

These are not quiet by any means. And to get good performance one has to use the Heavy cycle. We had one and it died after 3 years. We spent $1200 and it was not even worth the money. This is my opinion and I know that Glen has had his for some time without any issues. But thats an exception. The concept is a good one but if one cooks alot or entertains often this is not a dishwasher that you would even want in the kitchen.

Current issue has ratings on dishwashers and F&P came in dead last in terms of reliablity. Brand required something like 25% or more repair rate per 100, or some such. CR didn't even include any offering by the brand in it's ratings.

I have these in my kitchen already, too quiet for me, you can't tell if its running and if there's a problem like the wash arm got stuck until the end, you do have to really scrape the dishes well before placing inside, there is no food disposer, mashed potatos will clog the filter and drain hose, trust me, its happened, the impeller has been replaced twice on the top machine, their plastic and can chip easily, I do tend to favor the top because of ease of not bending down, but in 5 years thats the only issues, they do come with a 2 year warranty, and fixed both times while covered, never a problem since.
you must follow one rule, that's in the book....the drain hoses meet using a "Y" connector to the sink drain, make sure the hoses are elevated to the top of the counter, they didn't do this when mine was installed and when the top machine would drain, the water would backflo into the bottom machine, and flood the floor if you did not notice this was happening, been there!
I want to get one for my mother, may not be the best machine, but just so she doesn't have bend to load and unload would be a great help, even the single drawer units are helpful in these cases....

Having used the Dish Drawer at a friends and whilst staying in a holiday cottage, I can agree that they...
- Are not the best cleaners
- have a tendancy to be noisy
- don't flush out powder from the dispenser properly
They are a great idea, but a full size machine is better and Launderess is correct...with half load options available, why go for drawers?
...especially if you get a top or bottom wash option...

I love my drawers!!!
I've had the F&P drawers for a little over a year now, and I love them. They're quiet and they clean beautifully. The cleaning is all in the loading. Only once did I have a plastic butter dish to move and block the wash arm. But that can happen in any machine.
The "no bending" to load the top drawer is nice. But I make it a point to use both drawers alterately.
I've been pleased with my choice.
It's also nice that one drawer can do the "heavy" cycle while the other drawer does the "delicate" cycle.
Also the "fast" "eco" cycle does a load in 38 minutes.
No repairs yet, but have had them only a year.
