I couldn't get it to run... I think the compressor is shot. If anyone wants it, it is yours. I just hate to see it go to the scrapper. I just am not experienced enough, and need the space for the '58 Philco in the other post.

It's the same model Lucy had in the first few seasons of I Love Lucy. You can see the one I'm talking about in the clip below. It was a garage fridge for years, so that pretty much describes it. I'll look around for a few pics

Wow, childhood memories - Door as Art.

My first six years of school were a one room country school in Minnesota. One of my school chums had a sled made from the door of a frig like that. Fast and dangerous!

P.S. If you can't find a home for it, remove the door, have an artist paint it, and hang it on a wall. Or just polish the door and use it for notes and magnets. You could have brackets recess it from the wall slightly and light if from behind with neon or LEDs so there is a glow of light around the door.

Save the door. It is art.

Brian, I like your fridge!

I like mine too... I may wind up keeping it if no one bites and I can find room.... It would make a nice cabinet if nothing else.

Space is a limited commodity around here... Quick somebody bite before I change my mind!

Of course that means if things go as planned, I'll then have 4 refrigerators (both working and not) in this house!
