Help Support :

Ok! I'm gonna stay!!!

Alright!!!!!
Like Joan Crawford said "DON'T F**K WITH ME FELLAS! THIS AIN'T MY FIRST TIME AT THE RODEO!"
I would like to thank everyone on this site for being absolutly the best people I've met in a long time. For the last day I've been really kinda upset about the whole thing. Then I just kinda decided it doesn't matter what people think or what they call you its what you act like and what you answer too. For the few of you out there who think I'm lying or up to evil doings in order to get sex or whatever I wish you a nice slow fall to hell! I love collecting washers and I love this site. I've learned to love the people on here and I'm not gonna budge! I found an APEX that is not bullshit. Me and Robert have been talking on the phone making arrangments for it to get to him in a timly fashion. He is a super great guy and his attitude and absolute kindness in this matter have basically reinforced my wanting to give him the washer for free. Ok enough of this crap!!!!!! On with the happiness and fun this site usually brings! I'm sorry for causing so much anger and distrust in this site the last day. Ok now! Who the hell is gonna help me divi up all these damn machines!!!! MUAH!!!

John, I am so glad you made the decision to stay. I've been too upset to post a comment at all, all I knew to do was pray for the situation to resolve properly & positively. It was killing me that you had found such an incredible stash and for you to be treated the way you were.

John, as you already know this a fantastic site. Each year it seems to get better and better. Don't let some sons of b***hes get to you.

You get them back by staying right here. Don't take no s**t from nobody.

Child I is on vacation.

I am so sorry to hear there is all this nastiness going on.

But I am thrilled that we are not losing a good member!
....and let it be known there is nothing like having a nice, new, good member available as a resource, friend and cyber-companion.

Glad to see you are going to stay!

John, so glad to see you will be staying with us. I e-mailed Robert and told him I live close and would be glad to help with the move. Now without any alterior motive- if there are any that would look nice next to my 1953 slant fronts I could give it a new home. [ but please remeber the offer to help has nothing to do with getting a washer I just live close and want to help}. Jeff

Slice o'cake coming up!

Bethann:

I just happen to have a fresh cup of coffee on my desk, and I'm starving to death! Let's dole out the cake!

Venus :-D

Christmas in july

Do you guys in the US do Christmas in July too?

It is catching on in Au, as all the Christmas traditions, especially the food, seem geared to winter and here, Christmas is in mid summer. Many Aussies now do a barbeque or seafood for Chrissie and have the whole catastrophe for Christmas in July. Not my families though - we swelter in the kitchen in summer.

Anyway, I can understand doing a Christmas in July in the Southern hemisphere, as a sort of down under joke, but why would you do it in the Northern hemisphere??

Confused.

John - very glad to hear you are staying.
Best Wishes
Chris.

Christmas in July

Chris,
Christmas in July here in the mid-west USA is a sort of psychological relief from the hottest part of Summer. In the past when its been especially hot the radio stations have hauled out Xmas music and played it, with the goal of the music distracting us from how miserably hot it is...we hear winter music and are supposed to feel cooler...
Its not an official holiday or celebration that I know of.
Christmas here falls 4 days after the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year and the least amount of daylight. Its always cold, and if not for the lights and decorations it would be quite dreary as well.
