Apex up for grabs..........anyone want?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support AutomaticWasher.org:

Robert, I saw this post just 3 minutes after it had been posted. I couldn't believe it. But I wanted to wait until you saw it. At first, I was a bit sceptical because it also sounded kinda like an ABC-O-Matic and I didn't wanna get my hopes up. I have tears in my eyes because your dream has been realized. Bob

HOLY TOLEDO !!!

"Somewhere over the rainbow&quot <br
What a great day for the boys and girls in washerland that our king has found his dream <br
So generous a man gets the gift of a lifetime. Good things come to good people <br
Yippee yay kyook ky yay <br
John, were you chuckling/ teasing in the opener? You didn't know that the Apex is the only thing we've never seen and Robert's dream machine?

Had to make him work for it.

All I can say is I knew what it was and I knew some people wanted it but I just put it on here and thought if our leader wanted it he could e-mail me. I am giving it to him for nothing so I don't think my intensions could in any way be considered evil or mean spirited. If it brings him so much happiness then I told him he could have it for free.

Karma

What a magnificent thing to do, and if Karma is true, expect something absolutely amazing to happen to you. For all of us warsh people, this Apex find is nothing less than a cosmic event, and you, John, are truly blessed. Expect the impossible dream to come home <br
Mikey

There's nothing wrong with a little gentle teasing ...

John, <br
What a wonderful gesture, John. This is Robert's dream machine. I'm so glad you were able to find it for him. I agree with Mikey ... good things await you. <br
Mik <br <br

Robert!!!

Glad you got this baby! I KENW there just had to be one of these somewhere. Can't wait for the restoration photos!!! Mark

I couldn't agree more with what everyone has said. John I am so very greatful to you, I hope I can return the favor sometime. You are a hero in Applianceville <br
Once the Apex comes to Minneapolis, it will get some TLC and be ready for some great new videos that will be posted front and center here at aw.org. Finally the entire world we be able to see what a Bouncing Basket Wash-a-Matic actually does!

Wow!!! I knew there had to be an Apex out there somewhere. I'm so happy that John found it and Robert is getting it. Woohoo! I think I may have an owners manual for it.

Good Vibes!

Robert, I am feeling your good vibes from the other hemisphere <br
John, you made us all equally happy <br
Emilio

Robert - I believe in Karma

Good things come to good people and from good people. Congratulations and good luck. Can't wait to see it. Now back to fighting with Photoshop. I think I am jumping to the advanced stages too soon.

Oh Robert!!!! I am so happy for you!!! I know this is your dream machine. Like Fred says, Good things come to good people!! Keep us posted. Terry

Well!!! About d@mn time one of these babies showed up! It's only been, what, 10 years, maybe more, that we've all been looking out for one? <br
Watch, now we'll find three more in various areas of the States <br
God bless these old repairmen and independant dealers <br
Congrats!

<i>Watch, now we'll find three more in various areas of the States! </i <br
That is exactly what I suspect is going to happen Peter. It seems like once one is finally found, more suddenly show up. It's almost wierd!

OHMIGAWD!

I'll bet everyone is just twitching and shaking! I know I was so excited when I found that Thor-O-Matic(rebadged Power-Surge). I was ticked off to have that crummy little rental car and not my Ford Ranger pick-up or Dennis and I would have whipped that thing outta there right away! When I tried to call Robert, I was so excited that I probably did not even make any sense to Neal or the answering machine. I just kept on pinching myself saying "You really are seeing this-It's not your imagination or the jet lag&quot <br
John-When you found this machine did you know how rare it was and did you have the same kind of crazy reaction as I did? I nearly wet my pants! Thank the Washer Gods-Its been a great summer <br
Davi

Mapquest says it is only 765 miles from Minneapolis to Columbus. Do I smell a weekend road trip? Why wait for the weekend -- "I'm not feeling so fresh. I'm calling off sick for the rest of the week!" -- and leave now!

OMG an Apex

Robert, I couldn't be happier for you! Congratulations on your dream of a lifetime machine. If this isn't the find of the century. Now, I wonder if the Beatty gods will be as kind to me??

All the major media needs to get this story!!!

We'll need security and crowd control! There will have to be
food tents! Red Carpet, a Sudan Chair Processional fo
both Uni and the "Bouncing Basket" !!! Doves released, Ros

I can hardly wait to see the "bouncing video" !!!!!

Robert

I am buying my ticket to Minie right now! I have been hearing about this baby since 1996 when you were ventilating at the Cape over my>>>>your pulsamatic
Now I wanna see action mister <br
Really I am so very happy for you today. This is what you have been quivering over for years now

4) DONT THROW THIS ONE OUT <br
Sorry for the cheer delay I have been over at Audiokarma lately <br
jon

John rocks <br
So are the transportation and arrival details classified? I think all the MN groupies and then some would want to be at Robert's when the baby arrives to celebrate! With lots of hugs and kleenex! But maybe Robert wants this huge event to be a private moment which is understandable, then share later.

Nope David <br
Just happy that Robert can stop dreaming about it and has it <br
It is very close to me though! I could sneak over and take a peek! John probably has it in a POD that Robert sent over concreted to the floor! LOL ( with rebar!)

Robert <br
If the tub bounces at 610 BPM, do you think you will have the same trouble making a movie of the Apex operating as you do the Pulsamatic, i.e., the tub bouncing too quickly to be adequately captured on video?

Great Find

Hey Guys <br
How great it is to find and share machines. Robert, best of luck on its restoration & John, best of luck in coming across more finds like you did <br
Rich

Apex vs. video

610 BPM is 10 Bounces per second. Video runs at 30fps and some internet video can go even 15fps. <br
But when you get video compression, streaming and even de-interlacing involved, that could mess up the whole thing <br
I have video in DV format of Robert's Multimatic and on my TV I can see it pulsate just like I was standing there.
