Hey everyone! I just got back from a trip to pick up a wringer washer in Madison, Indiana. While I was there, I saw WAYYY more vintage appliances than I thought I would. In fact, I think this is the world record for the highest number of vintage major appliances I’ve seen in one day period. I saw a second wringer washer to the one I purchased that was being used as a planter. On top of that, I also saw an early WCI Frigidaire refrigerator with the wood grain handles that went all the way from the top to the bottom, like on some of the G.M. units. Last but certainly not least, I saw a complete coppertone G.E. kitchen. I’ll start with the WCI fridge.
Thanks,
Thatwasherguy.

That refrigerator brings back a lot of memories for me. My grandma had the non-frost-free model which was purchased new around 1964 when her kitchen was remodeled. And our neighbor lady had the frost-free model which was still going strong when she moved to assisted living in 2009. Both were the same coppertone color.

Nice!
I know some people like it, and it's theirs to do with as they choose. But, I find it kind of painful to see an appliance of any kind used as a planter or something. That Maytag looks pretty clean.
