Recently I bought a 130 year old building that was once an appliance repair shop. It closed in the 90's but was there since the early 50's. Most all the parts look 50's and 60's to me. I will be glad to keep my eyes open for a particular part you are looking for, just post a photo.

So far I've seen several metal upright washer agitators, a complete electric stovetop with a lot of gold trim, lots of motors, a Hotpoint Calrod store display (lights up to demonstrate the different burner choices), a "Vornado" masonite sign, two "Thor" signs that are part of displays, hundreds of those plastic expandable things used to make a window air conditioner fit a window, refrigerator shelves, etc. Much of it seems to be obsolete electrical boxes, meters and other parts for homes and business. There are lots of parts I don't recognize, like the narrow porcelain panel still in the box seen below. Oh, and the neon sign in it's original crate that used to hang out front.

Interesting finds!

The porcelain finished panel appears to be the lower panel that goes on older refrigerators, below the door. This conceals the motor compartment.

The Hotpoint advertising items are really neat. The American Sign Museum in Cincinnati might be interested in that sign if you're selling it.

Nice find. If you're looking to sell parts, post them on the Shoppers Square or Ebay.

Be carful around that paint flaking off the walls, it's probably leaded. Same goes for any mold.

I’m looking for the rubber boot that goes on the agitator shaft of my Thor automagic  washer.  I’m also looking for the dishwasher attachment, but that’s wishful thinking.

The Thor signs are great, too, but I’m sure they’re already spoken for.
