Shame on me...
I've not kept up on my postings! I didn't get the dishwasher out of the truck until last night, and then had to run to the airport to pick up dad. He's finally home from Iraq, so we were all catching up.
I really thought I wasn't going to make it out to Long Island in time, what with the traffic and all. Luckily I was out there before too long, and got a quick tour or casa toggles before we headed over to Mikes. We retrieved the Bosch and the Maytag, and Mike offered me a nice Speed Queen. We thought about taking it along as well, but I wasn't sure 3 machines were going to fit in the truck (its got a cap) and we decided not to take a chance.
On the way back to tog's, we decided that he'd play with the Maytag for a bit, and if I needed it, I could come retrieve it once I had the house.
We got back to tog's he put together an awesome home cooked meal. I got the chance to talk to a certain maytag fan from CT on the phone, and we had a mini wash-in, playing with the mini-basket in his filter-flow(had seen one but never saw it actually used in a machine) and we dragged the little Maytag down to the basement and got it set up.
I had to head back to Staten Island, and I didn't get in until late. I had a great time, and Toggles is a wonderful host! I even left with other parting gifts for the new house.
My closing date was pushed back past March 11, giving me a little more time to play with. Until then, the Bosch is out in the garage at the 'rents house. I'll try and get a picture or a model number, but i'm not going to try it out, with the 19 degree weather and such.
