ARE YOU SERIOUS PANASONIC???????

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Well, congratulations on a new washing machine. I hope it's a better machine than the average Bauknecht, basically it's a Whirlpool. I read about problems with the plastic baffles (the sometimes come loose), with the door lock (doesn't open anymore), the motherboard (total failure) and vibration of the side panels. Keep an eye on those things and call in service as soon as something goes wrong.

I'll guess that if one of these things happens we'll recognize it. I have been surprised about the noiselevel: It is rather silent. Even during the spin it does not sound to loud in any way. It may be noisier than the Panasonic was, but for a price of 340€, it is totaly perfect!

@ henene

I'm not clear on one thing: you said neither MediaMarkt nor Panasonic wanted to honor their obligation to you, the customer, for an appliance free of defects and refused to repair the machine. Finally, MediaMarkt offered to replace the machine (free of charge, I assume) or a EUR 60,- refund on a EUR 699,- machine. How is the EUR 60,- refund better than a new machine?

Also, could you not simply claim that since the machine is defective, you should not be obligated to continue paying for it?

I'm not criticizing you, I'm just curios...
