These are definitely TOL, and yes, they do have a console light.
I owned a pair just like this, even had the gas dryer. They did everything, they were fully warranted for 3 years, and my washer was a POS. Must have been built on a Monday or a Friday.
The moment the warranty expired they were replaced by a pair of Dependable Care Maytags.
I had the washer in black, maybe because it was cursed! It had a loud grinding noise and the dispenser solenoid would make a loud buzzing noise. I sold it as is for $150. Replaced it with a 1961GE combination in canary yellow. That was in great shape until the trap door on the drum somehow opened during the wash cycle. All the clothes were not only ruined but stuck between the inner and outer tubs. Took me hours to remove everything. I wound up permanently locking that door using epoxy.
I honestly think Sears was at my house once a quarter for 3 years - all for the washer. The craziest things, too; things that should NOT be a problem. I remember at one point the dispenser system didn't work correctly, another time the underside of the porcelain coated lid began to rust, another time they had to replace (plastic) gears - this they blamed on me using less than a full load of water which in turn put stress on the transmission (um so what would be the point of an adjustable water level if the user is supposed to only use a full tub of water?).
You did better than me. After a rusty top, basket drive, 2 control boards and a water valve, 1-1/2 years later I gave it away for the maytag. I like the maytag so much I went back for the matching dryer.
I emailed the seller and he told me these machines have worked perfectly since they were new. And as everyone knows, Craigslist sellers always tell the truth, even if they have to lie about it.
