Hey guys I need a hand, does anyone have a asko 12605, because i got a motor for it and I know the wiring is incorrect, does anyone have a motor from a asko 12605 so they could take pictures of the wiring on the plug?

not sure if it's a match, but...

I have a couple of Asko 12004 machines and a spare motor or two.

I have no idea if they use the same motor as your model or not. Tomorrow I can check the part number on the motor if you like.

How could the wiring of the motor be faulty? They aren't really a serviceable motor. (If it the same as mine.)

It could be that the motor brushes are worn out, and on my machines the brushes are not accessible from outside like most, they are buried inside the motor housing. I have never had one apart yet.

As I have a couple of spares, believed OK but not sure, I would be happy to open one up and learn about its innards and pass on what I find if you would like.

I know the motors are made by Siemens, and unusually for a brush motor machine, there is no electronic module. I still don't really understand how they did it, so I'd be more than happy to open one up and solve the mystery for myself.

Of course your machine and mine may have completely different motors, too.

no, I don't do facebook.

I have been out to the shed and can't find the spare motors. They may have gone for scrap...

I still have 2 complete machines, looked at one tonight but can't read the numbers on it - they are printed straight on the housing and not very clear to read by torchlight. I can try again in a day or two.

can you post a photo of your motor? If it is clearly different I won't continue.

I notice that your model has a spin speed dial (I googled the model number) - mine has only a 900/1400 switch. To get variable speed spin like yours would require an electronic motor control module, so I am starting to suspect your machine uses a different system to mine, and thus a different motor. Any way, happy to look again at mine if it can help.
