Today is a little different.... not complaining

Today,  a "toolbar" for related topics keeps popping up,  with a capital T in a half light box then related as  below that I copied and pasted.   When I logged out and back in a yellow box was displayed.  " A long running script is stopping  AW.org". I finally got logged back in and the tool bar described above keeps showing up.  Robert just a  report of whats going on.  arthur 

edit:  after posting related frontload washer and dryer and top load washer and washing machine reviews is pasted over the forum names.

Hi Arthur, thank you for letting me know there might be a bug. I was experimenting yesterday with moving the ads from the right side to the left side. Although I had a bit of trouble in some browsers, I thought I found all the bugs, but maybe not.

When I log out I see this, does anyone else not see one near the top and two ads down the left side of the screen?

All OK here.   I'm on a PC at work using Explorer 8.   When I log out, two ads down the left side and an ad at the top.

 

Interesting that when I log in and "opt in" for the ads I only get the ads at the top and bottom of the thread/page, which I appreciate.   I've "opted in" since you set this up to help as I can.  

 

I have noticed the ad at the bottom of the page change position in the last couple days, but that's by design.

Robert I logged out.  Logged back in, after waiting for the same delay " AW.org not responding due to long running script".  Finally got logged back in.   I looked at the Anderson Cooper thread about his jeans.  ads were running.  As i am typing this home depot ads are running for refrigerators and range hoods on the right. from top to bottom scrolling down.  The tool bar with the T in half light is at the bottom of the screen again.   thanks alr

continued: for some reason i am not "opting out by default",   doubt it has anything to with this but i did order a range hood from home depot last week and browsed the refrigerators.  Not a big deal but it is making this old laptop run at a snails pace.   How do i opt out?  I have logged out and back in 3 times  thanks  Arthur

Click the "Update your profile" link at the top of the page, then you will see three check boxes, one is "Show advertisments".  Uncheck it of you don't want to see them.
