celestial brand

Now that is quite interesting arrrooohhh,Celestial was the old Waltons department store's own brand of appliances,they had in their range, sewing machines, washing machines,I think televisions though I cannot remember fridges or dishwashers.
Waltons were around in the 70's and early 80's,but I think they were eventually taken over by someone else.
I believe that Harvey Norman now sells a Celestial brand in cheap televisions and dvd players. although these are chinese made.

Shame he hasn't posted a picture. I think that is very lazy and its not hard to post a picture these days. He does mention that is is not a large capacity machine. It may be a solid tub!

I remember Waltons in Bankstown very well! What a treat as a small boy to check out the washing machines. I used to like the Whirlpools and the small Sanyos I remember those really well for some reason.

Asking for more information

Hey Ash,

I have asked the seller if he can describe the machine to me and failing that, i have asked to go and have a look as i don't work too far from that suburb.

I have to admit, i am a little intrigued by the description: 4 speed automatic and Celestial brand.
