Attn UK members: Good deal on Miele Washer

Hi folks,

I just wanted to alert anyone in the market for a new Miele Premier 520 to a really good deal on the machine.

Currys are offering it for £459.01 delivered, and you can also have it fully guaranteed for 5 years by visiting the Miele website, printing off a claim form and sending it off. If your taste is towards the new styling, you can have a 1512 for just a few pounds extra. This also represents excellent value for a feature packed machine, but my wife and I prefer the more traditional styling.

This is the best deal I've seen on this machine yet, and in my opinion a very fine use of £459. I intend to purchase this machine for my new house, and have (hopefully) sold my current Zanussi to the purchasers of the house I'm currently in.

My only misgiving is that Currys is the retailer - I would rather avoid stores like Currys and Comet if possible as I have suffered appauling customer service from both.

Geesh if only they were that cheap here. I don't think you could touch a Miele here for under $2000 Cdn (900 UK)

Discounted Miele's

Our very own Lavamat_Jon recommended a very good internet shop called www.we-sell-it.co.uk. The service is effective and prompt if you wish to avoid the high street stores. I have had a few refrigeration items from this place and theyre all a very reasonable price and are top notch. They also offer excellent value on Miele washing machines and dryers. I considered purchasing my new machine from there (which incidentally arrives in a weeks time) however I managed to get the Miele I wanted for under £800 as opposed to the £912 the website wished to charge. All said and done though, its a very competitively priced, if alternative method to buying white goods.
