These were great stoves! Worked well, worked with a pilot(yay!) and, if you look closely, this is Marie Barone's stove on "Everybody Loves Raymond".

...Around '67, '68, somewhere in there.

I always liked the "dropped" cooktop on ranges of that vintage; since it's lower than the surrounding countertop, there was little chance of boilovers and spills seeping into the crack between range and countertop. It does, however, limit the size of pots and pans that can be used.

That's a good point, the "drop top" not only looks good, but prevents nasty meses, never thought of that. I don't know about the griddle performance, but these were solid, very high quality stoves.
