Avocado Green Maytag Dryer

Went by the thrift store and saw this dryer. Can't date it, maybe you can help. It's an avocado green Maytag that has one dial in the middle of a white embossed background. It needs some cleaning and some of the porcelain has chipped off near the top edge. The inside looks really clean, and it appears to have a new cord. He's asking $20-25.00 for it.

Is it worth it?

does antone have any pictures of Maytag dryers as my laundry folder is bare of pics

If it runs and heats properly,it's worth the asking price. Be careful,though. If it is an electronic control model,sometimes the electronic part gives up,and the dryer won't shut off.Expensive repair,if parts are still available.
