So I finally got around to booking up the portable KA dishwasher (in Avocado!) it has a rather huge leak on the right hand side of the upper rack. It makes me think there’s a hose or plug missing. Any ideas?

Was the lower wash arm in its proper place on this test? Also was the machine level as from the pics there looks to be a slanted driveway this is sitting in..?

have you look outside the casing to see if the main body of the dishwasher do not have a dent or hole in it?
It worked much better with the lower spray arm in place.

If you did not bypass the door switch you have a stuck inlet valve.

No more leaks, but it didn’t drain all the way either.
John, I got this literally off a scrap pile, and I wouldn’t know a door switch or inlet valve if it came up and introduced itself
The kitchen in this house has a BOL 00’s Frigidaire dishwasher that is finicky and louder than a freight train, so I’m hoping to switch it out for this if I can get these few kinks ironed out. Now if I can just find an avocado refrigerator....

Dan, yes - this machine looks so pristine! Hope you can get it used as a daily driver. Also did u lift the filter from under the wash arm to see if it needed cleaned ie preventing drainage..

Dan, john was meaning the water appears to be entering machine in pic 2 but all operation should stop with door open per the upper right hand corner safety door switch.. unless u take real fast pictures! Lol

Inlet Valve Failure ?
It certainly could get stuck from not being used, I would really want to be sure it is working properly before I trusted it however if it got stuck even once.
Usually you can tell if they are trying to fail if they fail to close in about 1 second every time you interrupt power.
