Ya know,

for some reason, maybe because it was the first Maytag I ever used, I have a real hankering for this machine with its black and blue agitator, its brushed aluminum panel trim and in avocado yet. Hmmm.

There is something about BOL machines when they are just as sturdy mechanically, but otherwise uncomplicated. I think an A106 is fascinating, just like one-knob wonder bol Whirlpools and Kenmores.

I didn't know that Maytag's bols were available in colors - very cool.

Gordon, as I recall the 206 was the lowest model in the lineup to offer colors (of this particular era). The 106 was white only. The 206 was a more "deluxe" if you will BOL
