Out of nowhere, an 18-oz. box of Axion detergent booster showed up at a local convenience store near me. It was the same version from the early '90s, before it disappeared (at least here) - bright blue box, orange/yellow lettering. I scooped it up at $3. The box smells like the store it was sitting in, but with a small squeeze near the top, the scent I remember poured through. I'll have to resist the temptation to open it!
It seems these independently-owned convenience stores are the best places for spotting old detergents/formulas. This same store carries large 1-cup formula boxes of Tide (although NOT the classic scent, but the newer scent that's been around for a while).
