After drinks we wrapped up and packed up the washers for the night and took a stroll up the road in the evening sun before dinner, beautiful fields and wild flower borders....

Darren looks bemused when he asks for a whisk to whip up the cream for a later Pavlova and as Richards kitchen is 50`s chic he routed in the draws and came back with this...poor Darren had better start whipping now...

Said Hoover Steam Cleaner did a great job on removing the grime and crud for the inside and outside of the Hoover MicroElectronic, made easy work of the detergent tray and dispenser. And we used the new Persil PowerGems in the bucket of water, once dissolved the water was very slippy and did a great job and getting through the dirt.[this post was last edited: 7/13/2017-08:09]

I woke up early with the intent to tackle administrivia but instead vicariously attended a UK wash-in.
Pics, narration & their arrangement all flowed to make a great morning coffee read. Richard's kitchen is beautiful and makes a great backdrop. I saw a number of intriguing things. I think I'm in love with his cabinets!
Thanks for the posts. It looks like you had a blast!

Endnote: I keep thinking aw.org has enough members with sizable collections that a deal could be worked out with local MisterBnB's to form an AW.org vacation circuit. Travellers bring/send parts, detergent, rarities from their home countries, etc., donate their time & skills ... and all benefit. A system would have to be worked out, of course... but it'd be great fun!
