I, too, have at times (well, basically before, during and after every march, interview or discussion broadcast on TV) complained loudly that I am tired of seeing us represented by the birds of paradise and the BDSM crowd.
I think I understand where you are coming from, there. If I had the choice of which dog to leave my child with, a nice black lab with bright eyes and gentle disposition would be more likely my first choice than a yappy miniature French Poodle in blue or pink...or a raging Dobermann with foaming mouth.
And yes, my darlin' is a man's man. My personal attraction has always been and is exclusively to men, not women.
