Is it just me, or is that picture squished? That's a 40" stove, isn't it?

I wonder if it still has the "Roll-To-You" rack in the oven.

Are those french doors on a big oven? I know that Frigidaire did that on wall ovens, but I've never seen it on a range.
This is the same stove Bethann has. I thought it was so beautiful I saved the picture. Dan, is it time to go electric?

One front burner (left) is a Speed-Heat and the right is a Heat-Minder (sensor) element.
These features survived on a few ranges, they worked perfectly on my 58 CI Frigidaire but many times you'll see them replaced with infinite heat switches and standard elements.

My mom had this range
Got it as a belated wedding present, just before my birth. She says it was the best oven, easiest to use for big turkeys, great for even layer cakes.
But:
The heat minder failed in 1958, 59, 60...and was replaced with an infinite control unit.
The oven thermostat failed in 1958, 59, 60...and only then worked.
The oven door hinges (serious weight and leverage to be sure) were not up to the job and were replaced at least once every two years through 1969.
The connection which opened both doors simultaneously never failed.
She would pay anything to have one back again, provided it came with replacement parts for all the above.
I guess that's an endorsement.
