Beautiful beautiful job!!! Congratulations! Did you use a coat of etching primer underneath the white and then use spray paint like Krylon or Rust-o-leum? Maybe you had an HVLP sprayer? How would one make the decision to remove the old paint. Rustoleum primers and paint make a smooth finish. Did you clear coat it and was the paint semi-gloss or gloss? Was your agitator too tall for the lid? I read about someone using Plastostor (sp?) to restore white plastic maybe it works on rubber.
I have seen several vids of people restoring toy trucks and how they blacken the wheels: lightly send them, wash them, and lightly torch it. Are these agitators, rubber, plastic or bakelite?

Again congratulations and only one thing would've made it better: a pink skirt. LOL

Rpms, I like your picture. My mom actually had a wringer accident when I was a baby. My dad was in the army, we were stationed in Munich Germany, living in military housing. She was washing diapers in our Apex wringer and her wedding ring got snagged pulling her hand right through. It was a shared laundry room and a guy came over and reversed it and got her hand out. Luckily the only thing that happened were her rings bent and had to be cut off, no broken bones or damage to her hand.

Wringer bite

My Aunt had the same accident too. If it wasn't for her wedding ring her fingers would have been mashed. The wringer kept skidding on the ring till it popped open.
