Well I hope the parts lists are right Louis lol. I can't link you to my trade site info but if you look on www.partmaster.co.uk for the pump on a wmxd760 it also clearly shows the same twin pump unit mine has. Link below.

Yeah the rinses are deep and thorough. Big drum with lovely shaped paddles. Wash times are very long unless you press the quickwash button which cuts rinses to two and wash time is much shorter. Works well still.

These models get good performance reviews from both Choice and Which and the mere fact that Zodawash has had one apart and says that they are ok to work on is a good thing in my opinion. It sounds as if they were made to be 'repairable' rather than 'disposable'.

Mum tends to use her 'daily wash 40' cycle quite a lot as she rarely has full loads anymore. On her machine it is an hour. 20-25min wash, 3 rinses and 1000rpm spin. Pressing quick wash reduces the rinses to 2 and the overall time to about 46min...

I also tried to look for a door seal/gasket for the Beko WMXD760W to see if it had the "hole " in the top of it !
What am I like ? haha!
Could'nt find a seal on that link though.

The thing I like about these machines is alot of thought seems to have gone into them. It is not a oh its broken toss it away machine. Everything is easily obtainable, fixable and its put together like a piece of mechano lol. The electrics like the motor pumps etc are all covered in plastic in case of water leaks so they dont short out, the sides of the machine are insulated to reduce noise and you can strip it down very quickly to just a frame and put it back together easily. Parts are very reasonable including the main module which is far cheaper than most other makes and again is at the top of the machine so out of waters way.

If it has a down side i'd say the facia and worktop mark easily if its silver coloured

I can't rate the matching dryer as highly because I find it hopeless at drying bedding. It just rolls into a ball and you end up having to hang it up in the end.The reverse action is not very efficient.

Is this a Beko re-badged as Finlux ?
I had a Finlux TV in the early 80's but never heard of them in the domestic (white goods ) appliance market.
FWM167JW -The "J" suggests jet perhaps .
Im always interested when re-badged machines pop up.

Finlux

They are not Beko machines, Finlux washers are made by Vestel of Turkey,one of Beko's rivals. Hence a similar look to most of their white goods ranges.

Vestel

Vestel have 10% of the Appliance market in Europe. Their website in English is in the link below. No idea about what their products are like but probably much like Beko. They sell Finlux LCD tv's in the UK i've looked at some last week but I've not seen any other products though haven't really been looking for them lol.

Harvey Norman in Ireland is suddenly selling Finlux washing machines and dishwashers as their BOL 'value' range. I've no idea what the quality is like, but I suspect quite a lot of consumers here won't touch them with a barge poll simply because the brand is unknown.

They seem to have replaced the Indesit/Hotpoint BOL machines in their stores.

Even Gorenje, which makes some rather nice machines at their TOL, seems to struggle badly to convince anyone that they're not cheap junk.
