Bendix 7128 Replaces Zanussi FLA1002W

right, as some of you may know, my Zanussi is being replaced by the Bendix 7128 tomorrow.
why?...well because from my point of view it gave very poor washing results, it was sometimes almost as loud as my Hotpoint and that was annoying my dads gf and finally the main reason is that wash times were TOO LONG! and i kept getting a earful from my papa and dads gf to use worn once 30! and obviously i refused so last weekend it was decided that the bendix should take over with the laundry duties. we arent bothered about the slow 500rpm spin because its the quickness of the washes and the quietness we want. the machine also needs a small repair before being installed and thats for one of the shock absorbers to be sealed as its pulling away from the enamel tub
pictures of the reapair and shots of the machine should be up by end of tomorrow, would love to know what you think of all of this.

well so far (on my own), ive put the crusader dryer into the spare room, unplumbed the zanussi and slotted it into the dryers place incase the bendix gives trouble once plumbed in. pictures below

i think it looks nice in its new spot, if your wondering why there is laundry in it is because the machines we dont use are used as laundry holes

Microwave

is that a vintage Tappen or Moffat Microwave I see in the corner to the right of the sink? If it is you have certainly got good value from it! Any chance of a pic please?

i couldnt resist

the machine is now on its left side awaiting repair and i couldnt resist taking a few pics of the insides. if you want any closeups of any parts then dont hesitate to say

oh that huge inducuton motor, the red stuff around the shock absorber is the area to be repaired...again, a bit of bathroom sealant should do it.

Great Machine, I love that style of Bendix. I owned the model Rob and Paul have for a while and loved it.

we hit a problem

on its test run for leaks, the door lock decided to play up, but that was sorted and at about 9 last night the machines test load was started, programme 5 with darks, there was no leaks and it ran as smooth as expeced
