One place says it's in Fresh Meadows, the other Bayside. I'm guessing it's in (beautiful downtown) Flushing, but they want a more upscale zipcode.

Is a laundry mangle?

Does it "roll" sleeves (so they don't have a crease mark from ironing)?

There is a REASON you don't see them too much anymore

Methinks flat pieces are easiest. One has to learn how to do cuffs, collars, hems, pleats etc.

Closed For The Duration

Sorry boys, my laundry room is over flowing, the portable dryer was about all one can manage until further notice.

Those cabinent ironers are not exactly compact, nor easily shifted. But they are a wonderful alternative to a Miele ironer. Bendix was the only ironer besides Ironrite to have an under heating shoe, which always gets my vote.

My mother had a Bendix rotary iron in the 1970/1980 - looked nothing like this though.
