Best laundry detergent and/or additive for food and oil stains?

Me, too. I have it delivered every three months on subscription. and with Prime, there is no shipping charge which is good for something heavy.

My go-to stain treatment is SoiLove. I discovered it at the 99c Only Store many years ago and would buy it by the gallon when they started offering it in that size instead of the smaller squeeze or spray bottles. Since those stores closed and the regular grocers that carry it only in the small bottles charge 4x the price, I bought a gallon on eBay. There are very few stains that this stuff won't remove. I still have a spray bottle that I fill from the gallon jug. I spray some on the stain, rub the material together a bit and toss it in. With dried blood stains, the brown will turn a greenish color almost immediately after applying, guaranteeing it will vanish. I Always use hot water for whites and warm for colors.

I've used Ariel and FOCA in the past, but only in my top-loader. I don't believe either of them are meant for high efficiency front loaders that require low sudsing detergents.

Hi everyone!!
I travel a lot with work and i always love looking for new detergents to try around the world!! Owning lots of whites (towels,sheets,shirts, kitchen towels) i have tried everything possible to keep them white as i live in a very hard water area (UK).
I found this detergent while in greece for holidays, its a multipurpose detergent but it suppose to do an amazing job in washing clothes according the locals.
I got 2 tubs of it and oh my god !!! Kitchen towels were whiter than ever without grease stains!! I also didnt use any additive as i used to before (vanish,oxiclean).
Towels are so white and soft without fabric conditioner or an acidic rinse porduct. I can see a bit of bubbles in the wash cycle but the water is almost crystal clear by the 1st rinse.
Dark clothes dont fade and look and feel very clean. I am so happy that one product can be used for all purposes without additives needed like before .
I still can't believe it . Looking at the ingredients list surprisingly noticed that the first ingredient was phosphates over 30 % .I think that explains everything

Ultimately, I settled on Tide Clean & Gentle powder. Last weekend, I picked up a box of it from Fred Meyer (my local Kroger affiliate) for only $17. Today, I put it to the test.

I loaded my dirty work clothes, along with some hoodies with oil stains, into the washer. I then poured a scoop of powder (up to line 1) into the detergent drawer. I added in some OxiClean as well for good measure. Finally, I turned off SmartDispense (where the All liquid is typically used) and started a normal cycle with hot water on the "heavy" soil setting. So far, all the powder has fully dissolved with a low amount of suds.

I'll report back once these clothes are fully washed and dried.
