Quality Maytag Dependable Care stem seal kit (6-2095720)

I was lucky enough to find a new old stock OE tub bearing kit for our Maytag LAT3914AAL, but I can't find an OE tub mounting stem & seal kit (6-2095720) to go with it. I anticipate I will need a kit with a nut by the time everything reluctantly comes apart for the first time since new. The reviews on the aftermarket stuff are terrible! Can anyone share a supplier with a quality replacement? Thanks in advance

Unless you can find a NOS stem kit somewhere you'll have to use an aftermarket seal unfortunately,

I'm good with aftermarket if I can figure out how to weed out the defective junk kits. Can anyone tell me who has a quality aftermarket kit? Or even which ones to avoid? I have seen a ton of bad reviews in my search so far.

Maytag dependable Care, mounting stem and seal kits

I’ve only seen one version of the aftermarket ones and they’re awful.

If you’re rebuilding these machines, you may have to use used ones. There’s plenty of Maytag’s out there that still have good used seals in them.

It’s amazing that anybody bothered to make this kit at all. There’s very little demand for it. Parts for GE filter flows in whirlpool belt drive washers are also disappearing quickly, if you intend to rebuild and keep these machines for a while find some parts before you start on the machine or make a big commitment to it.
