Best used dryers

My Frigidaire dryer just broke and I am in the market for a used dryer. I would buy new but they are too expensive and most likely wouldn't last very long anyway. I wanted your opinions on these 3 dryers, basically just tell me which one will last the longest and perform the best.

My first choice would be the Kenmore/Whirlpool...second choice would be the Maytag.

Because it's the "big load" dryer and has a larger door for easier loading / unloading when compared to the "plug door" on the KM.

Anyone know the dimensions on these dryers

I like the Maytag too but the Kenmore is much cheaper so as long as it will fit in my laundry closet I will get it, which is where the problem comes in...Im not sure if the dryer is too big to go into my laundry closet or not. Does anyone know the measurements on the Kenmore? Does anyone know what common failure points are on these Kenmore dryers? just so I know if something goes wrong it will be relatively easy to fix.

Best Of Three Used Dryers

The KM hands down for reliability and best performance, the MT comes in a distant 2nd, but are very repairable machines, but so so in performance, I will not even mention the GE but is is about equal to the Frigidaire you are thinking of replacing.

With the lint filter on top would be the best.  Unless you wanted a commercial laundromat style dryer.

Our Whirlpool dryer has been operating for 20 years without any repairs except for popping the lid every 4 years or so and vacuuming out the insides. It even has the same light bulb that was installed in the factory! Amazing reliability!
