And if you're interested in being neighbors to the B.H. manse but have a more limited budget of only $20 million, there is a home just to the NE for sale. Get it while it's hot.
With a neighbors home selling for $150 Mill., how could you go wrong at this price?
The thing is, and there have been articles written, there is a lot of activity in areas like Bel-air, Beverly Hill, Holmby Hills, etc. where perfectly good estates of say 5000 to 10000 s.f. are being purchased and knocked down and absolutely ridiculous structures going up. .....with all the noise, and the ugliness.....that's a real negative. Some of these projects go on for YEARS. Just take a look at aerial maps. Every block there is another drastic project.
As for San Fran. Real Estate. It's always been some of the most expensive ON THE PLANET. All this interest to live on a crowded peninsula with a major earthquake fault going under it and a still operating nuclear power plant and hour south. Thank-goodness that will be shutting down in a few years.
But people want to live there.
It's just as bizarre in Beverly Hills or areas around the North Valley. Both are sitting on top of oil wells. Can't forget about that major gas leak that happened a few years back requiring 10000 people to evacuate their homes.
But people want to live there. lol
