Beware of Maxsold: Maytag 806

Something smells fishy...

I bet they were hoping to sell it for more than $1. When they didn't get as much money as they were expecting to get for the 806, they decided to make it impossible for you to take it by making stupid excuses. Then probably just made up a lie about throwing it in the dumpster. They probably disconnected it themselves and garaged it to list at a later date with a higher starting price.

Probably just my suspicious mind wandering. But I would keep a look out for it to "surprisingly" reappear for sale at a higher price.
Just my suspicious opinion...

I absolutely agree with you on how they probably would turn around and sell it for more and it doesn’t surprise me with sloppy/scummy sellers like the one who is trying to make it possible AW user sprog to acquire that Maytag A806. They will probably try to sell it for a absurd $300 or something and that’s what usually tends to happen in these types of situations. I think something similar happened back in 2017 with a Maytag A206 set since they were trying to sell it for a whopping $800 and the Craigslist seller probably only originally paid $100 or something for it and I’ve mentioned it awhile back in a thread of a coppertone Maytag Highlander set that’s was for a absurd $900 for the set.
