Hello all in applianceland. It's been a while since I posted here.
The kitchen appliances in Samantha and Darrin Stephen's kitchen on the 1964-1972 ABC sitcom Bewitched have been discussed here over the years. One of my pandemic projects has been watching the series in its entirety. Eventually I will be sharing my findings about the major appliances that are seen in the show.
In seasons 1-6 (fall 1964 thru spring 1970) all of the major appliances are GM-produced Frigidaires.
In the summer of 1970 there was a major fire on the set that destroyed the dressing rooms and much of the kitchen area. When the set was rebuilt, there was a new "breakfast room" that was added off of the kitchen. The wall where the Flair ranges had been was now gone. In its place was a peninsula with a gas cooktop. To the left of the cooktop (on the same wall with the sink and diswasher) was a dual wall oven unit. These had black glass doors.
Can anyone identify the cooktop or the ovens?
The buner arrangement in an "L" is a bit unusual.
