Costco has the BB on sale. My first time. Cooked the first one and while it was good, the splattery mess was not. Today I defrosted longer, seasoned it more before cooking and brought out the Presto Burger for the first time in over 40 years and made a great burger. I put Silver Spring sriracha sauce and ketchup on it and it is good. The Presto thing kept it spread out. I did turn it over so it is crispy and browned on both sides, but I did that with the beef burgers, too.

I've had the Beyond burgers at A&W and could't really tell the diff from their regular burgers. However I've had some other brands at other fast food places and while they were okay they weren't quite as good. But then when you slather on a lot of ketchup, mustard , relish etc etc onto burgers it's sometimes hard to tell.

I got some BB's a few months back at Costco. They are good, but I wouldn't mistake them for beef.

Last night I cooked the second to the last one.

Yes, it's important to defrost it completely before pan frying.

And I always press them to a larger diameter before cooking.

They were on discount at Costco last month, but I decided not to get any. If I want a burger, beef is fine with me. And actually I got a pack of grilled chicken patties today at Costco, which smell and look just fine and will be my next burger meat.
