I opted to post these on this forum quite frankly because I have NO IDEA if a lot this stuff is Vintage or newer. There are 17 pictures coming up, so if you could....let me finish them before any additional postings. I'll say "the end" when it's done. Thank you in advance.

Some of you that visit Vacuumland may be aware that Terry Lattz and myself made a rather large purchase of Items from an EBay auction. We did not know what the final destination of these items may have been if we didn't "save them". Who knows? The scrap heap.

In addition to the vacuum cleaners that were our main concern, we acquired billions of stove parts. We do know how rare and impossible to replace some of these items might be, and how important they could be to you kids here on AW.

We have finally figured out how we will be dispersing the vacuum related items, and no doubt will be following the same path with the stove (etc.) parts. EBay. However, in this case...as you will see, there are a lot of parts. Some are in boxes and marked as to their use (with part numbers) other items you can glean from the pictures, it would be prohibitive to do over a hundred auctions. Neither Terry or myself do this for a living. LOL, The items will most likely be packaged up as misc. stove parts and sold for a minimum price. I just hate to throw away any of this as something just might be the one thing you need to complete a restoration.

There are some Frigidaire tech books...a lot of those, too heavy to be shipped, so will most likely be sold individually.

Again, really don't want to dispose of these items except to people who can use them.

Thanks,
Rick.

Vacuums....

Congratulations on a great save!

Hey, it's great to see that you rescued these! I wouldn't want to know what would've happened to them if you hadn't bought them. A person can see the quality just by taking a quick glance. What a far cry from today's flimsy replacement parts! And those vacuum cleaners...!

If any one sees something they absolutely can't live without, let me know. Otherwise, We will batch items together and put them up for auction.

Thanks for lookin'

Terry and Rick.

oh yeah.....the end

Wow Rick, you have done a fantastic job of sorting all that suff out!! Now it's up to those who have a need for these parts. Terry

Just bumping this up!

If anyone knows of someone that might be interested in these stove parts we would really appreciate it if you let us know. We are not looking to make a lot of money here we just hate to see them go to the dump if someone could use them. Thanks! Terry

Parts...

Any chance of a 1950s Magic Chef 2-burner stove burner unit?
Also, some of the knobs in Post# 375559 look like early 1950s Frigidaire range knobs.

As for the books, any repair books about:
1950s Frigidaire refrigerators
1950s Magic Chef ranges
Chambers ranges
Maytag washing machines (so I can do some work on a 1970 A206)
Kenmore / Whirlpool belt drive washing machines
GE Filter Flo washing machines
Kitchenaid Dishwashers
Maytag Belt Drive reverse rack dishwashers

Thanks for saving this stuff,
Dave

After talking with Rick again, it seems that these parts are all for Electric stoves. Not sure if that would make a difference to any of you. Terry

Looking for GE stuff

As always! If there are any GE books related to dishwashers, washer-dryer combination units, or the wall-mount refrigerators I am interested!!

Looking for GE stuff

As Always! If there are any manuals, service literature, etc related to older GE dishwashers, washer-dryer combos, and the wall-mount refrigerator I am definitely interested!

Westinghouse

I do believe I see some Westinghouse elements in there. I would be interested in any Westinghouse range parts and/or manuals you run across. E-mail @ [email protected] if you like, I'd give them a good home, (and remuneration, of course)!
