does bio powder act different to non bio powder in your machine, i ask this because ive allways used bio powder for everything, but since ive had the beko ive noticed it cant handle any bio powder with ease, constant sudslocks, suds halfway up the door and more and i dont even overdose, tbh im underdosing now and it still dosent work but when i use non bio powder in it suds barely get to the door glass

Non Bio

We use Persil non bio tabs mostly, just 2 of them in every wash, and they do a good job, not too sudsy but deeply clean.
I used to use Bold Orange Tabs for whites, and they were Bio and did get sudsy, however since Persil changed their formula for there Non Bio, I get better cleaning of whites with them.

I am sure that they are created/made in a different way!

Non Bio Powders

There is more bleaching agents in Non Bio powders to make up for the lack of enzymes that biological powders have =]

My Parents have a beko WM5120W which is a year old on the 24th August, and it only sudslocks when we are washing heavy items such as towels or a big load of clothes.

I think its just a common occurance with bekos, they just dont have the pump to cope with sudslocks. The Bosch Maxx (2003) that I have at my shared house, copes well with sudslocks, in fact i dont think ive ever seen one.

Suds are nothing whatsoever to do with the presence / lack of presence of enzymes.
They're to do with the surfactants.

In the UK and Ireland:

P&G Products : Ariel, Daz and Fairy can foam a lot.

Unilever products: Persil and Surf foam much less.

Non-bio powders entirely depend on chemical-based cleaning. They're probably much harsher on your clothes.

Biological products have all of those, but don't need as much bleach.
Instead of having to oxidise stains, they can break them down with enzymes.

Give Persil bio powder a try. If that foams in your machine, I would strongly suggest that you are using too much detergent.

Overdosing the machine with detergent will not improve the wash results. It just makes rinsing harder.

You need an optimal dose where the machine does not sudlock.
