Guys, can anybody tell me more details about the Bissel Big Green Complete 7700?
I've seen it at Walmart for some time and I'm kinda curious.

I've already watched all "Ibaisaic" videos (there's a similar version in UK) and I liked it a lot.

One of the things that concerns me is the carpet turbo brush. Does it really work or it's one of those brushes that work great for a few days and then it looses power?

Ibaisaic makes clear that it's not very convenient for everyday vacuuming because the unit is too heavy and kinda messy to keep clean (wash the water filter after use, etc), but I liked it, even being a little messy.

It is definitely much cheaper than getting a Vaccuum, a Bissell Crosswave and a carpet/upholstery washer. Actually it's cheaper than just the Crosswave.

I loved the possibility to wash hard floors (ceramic) and Ibaisaic mentioned it boosts the water temperature very well.

I'm probably going to rent an apartment that is 90% hardwood and only 10% carpet. I already have a Dirt Devil 360° stick/handheld that comes will all the attachments including a ceiling fan cleaner. That little thing is not the best vacuum in the world, but it costed me only $14 and i like it a lot and it meets most of my needs.
I also have a Karcher professional steam cleaner i brought from Brazil (it's super powerful, the steam jet looks and sounds like a CO fire extinguisher. and it has 2 containers, so I don't need to stop and wait every time I need to refill it.
Other tiny vacuum that have and love because it's excellent for quick pickups is the Black and Decker Flex 20V with floor head. It's much more versatile and useful than an average Dustbuster.

By the way, is Ibaisaic a member here? I love his videos.

And please, don't suggest Rainbows or Kirbys I know they're great but I can't afford.

And I don't like to buy anything used or refurbished.

For someone on a budget-you can find Kirby,Rainbow vacuums at pawn shops!Try them!Vacuum collectors do this.

A brand new TOL Rainbow with all the optional accessories I'd consider (if I could afford 1000+ dollars on a vac). And only if it doesn't come with that super annoying accessory that Rainbows have as standard, the multi-level marketing salesperson.)

Kirby may be the very best vacuum in the world (If it's not the best, it's close to it), maybe it can suck even the downstairs neighbors and rub them on the ceiling like an old TV commercial, but for me they're the ugliest vacuums ever made and I don't want a Kirby even as a gift (Darryl will strangle me if he reads that) LOL

I mean, my options are:

1) Get the Bissel that does everything. $205 + tax at WTFmart

2) Get a Shark Apex Duoclean (the TOL model) $300+, and a Bissell Crosswave $200+ , and a Bissell proheat compact cleaner $150+ and a small shopvac $70+ for whatever wet mess. Of course not all of them at the same time.

And of course, over time, 3 or 4 robots, just to have fun. I'm not OCD, but my home must be like Bree Van Der Camp.

The carpet area is so small that it wouldn't justify spending money buying an upright carpet cleaner. At the same time, the carpet has a high pile, that is not the best thing for my tiny Dirt Devil stick. i'm sure the tiny floorhead won't resist more than a couple of months

What attracted me to that bissell is the hard floor cleaning (washing) cheaper than a Crosswave, and having the other features as a free bonus. And of course, the water filter vac feature.

Well, Darryl also has a Hoover (i forgot the model name, shame on me, that stainless steel ball that floats) new in box, forgotten in the garage, maybe i can give it some use. if it has a good filtration and the bags are not absurdly expensive.

The Kirbys I have seen in pawn places were in pretty good shape-same with the Rainbows.I can understand,though.You can buy either of those brands like any other DTD brand vacuum with monthly payments.Don't know if that would appeal to you.You have to do what is best for you.

I would suggest:

Hop on over to the sister site, Vacuumland. Most of the collectors there will suggest high end vacuums, Kirby, Rainbow, Sebo, Miele.

There are a lot of good vacuums out there, in most cases Bissell is not among them. But the very best vacuum is the one that you like, and will use. If you like the features of the Bissell, and the price point is where you want to be, go for it. I might suggest that if the store offers a "extended warranty" buy it, you will need it.

Other alternatives are the vacuum shop brands like the Tacony group, Simplicity, Riccar, and the lesser cost Maytag vacuums. Since you are mostly dealing with hard surface cleaning a straight suction model may serve you well, and is less expensive.

Hoover has a couple of new offerings that look very promising, though I am not a bagless vacuum fan. The Hoover React will adjust from Hard surface to carpet without any user intervention. There is a Hoover store on ebay that you can purchase new and refurbs for a decent price. Hint: If you can wait until the week after Christmas the prices are always lower. I have seen some Hoover models as much as 80% off. Currently they have a Hoover Power-Scrub refurb for $89, roughly 50% off of new pricing.

I agree with you Ibaisaic is very informative, thorough, and extremely complementary in his reviews.
