Does anyone remember the Black & Decker model 8035 twin-blade rear-bag electric mower? There was also a cordless battery version called the 8055.
What was unique about both these machines in that there were not only twin blades but twin motors, one for each blade. For example, if the 8035 had a 10-amp motor rating then in reality that would be two 5-amp motors. These two motors spin their 9.5" long blades at 7000 RPM, in unison.
Maintenance, though, may be a problem if one of the two motors goes bad.
Whereas the corded model has the standard toggle on/off switch, the cordless model has a trigger motor switch that foreshadows what would be required on all Black & Decker electric mowers made on June 30, 1982 or later.
