I have a similar set, but the control panel has slight differnces. Mine does not have the chrome molding between the cabinet and top. Can anybody confirm if this was orignal or somebody added it? Any idea on the model #? Mine's a 110.92195510 but I can't tell if this is newer or older.

At first I thought maybe older, because if the chrome strip is original they might have deleted it to $ave, but then I thought maybe they added for more appeal.

I know after I got mine, I saw newer ones at Sears and they changed the touchpad to a more (ugly) rounded look.

Chrome strip on black LKM W&Ds

The chrome strip is just a strip of stick-on chrome tape, you can get it at an auto detailing store and add it to yours.

This is a beautiful set. I'd like a set like this if I needed one. Are these reliable still?

Amazing someone added chrome trim to these, they must have liked them as a lot of us do!

that chrome strip was original from Sears, my 1988 set had them....as well as the hanging rack option for the side of the dryer....

this model year dryer also offered the 'toss-to-the-front' feature that would spin the drum for a quick burst, hoping to help the clothes in the back get tossed to the front ....
