all components are there, but I removed some to get it indoors. I'm gonna get mechanical work and water work all back in working shape before a major paint job

Mark - what a fun looking project! As Scott said, these are rare but you seem to have a knack for finding things others might find a bit difficult and restoring them to working order.
Good luck and can't wait for more pictures as things develop.

I would have that cabinet sand-blasted to get that rust off (and the old lead paint too) There is probably an outfit out there that does it reasonably inexpensively. Good luck with the restoration! Those are very cool.

Holes on agitator
On drain the tub lifts up and all the water drains around the agitator and down out the bottom of the tub in 8 holes under that agitator.
No more straining wash water through clothes like that Kenmore does.
Whoosh that water goes.

I haven't seen it happen yet! Busy couple of weeks, gotta get to an auto parts store for a gear puller before I get any further with this machine. I'll keep you posted.

Yes, the building was sold last year. It is now a barber shop, and the back yard (where we kept old machines) is now just a parking lot. Most of the trees were cut down, too. I still live next door.
