My recipe calls for

3 eggs to be beaten with 0.7 6 cups of sugar and vanilla, then added in 0.51 cups of melted butter, and then 0.85cups of flour plus 1 tablespoon of baking powder.

I used a recipe for Banana cake from a Panasonic blender. It was so neat when the batter was rotating and you dropped a banana in and it twirled around a couple of times as it was sucked from view. That gave me the idea to make cakes in the Cuisinart which worked out very well.

First time for me you know..

It was 4 a.m. and I couldn't sleep and since I'm crazy I said "well I think I'll bake a cake" 😂

But I actually didn't want to use the Sunbeam take out the beaters etc and wanted to make the quickest thing I could.

So the blender idea...as I recalled reading about quick blender cakes some time before and it was a perfect time for trying that out.

Since the batter looked and tasted good I immediately realised it wasn't BS and indeed came out a very decent cake.

Hence why I have created this post asking if somebody else have other recipes because I think this is going to be a frequent thing in my family.

All you need is a blender jug and a buttered baking tray and you still can come up with a decent cake to serve when you are in a hurry.

Trust me It is a very tasty cake soft and doesn't chocke you either.

It melts in mouth and it's also ideal to have with coffee in the Morning.

If I had apples I think that with the same batter i could make a good euro style Apple cake or pear cake if i put slices .laid down on the bottom and top.
