Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

2 items that concern me in red arrows. I could never get those clean in the Point Voyager, even with a 10 hour wash cycle.

I see gaping holes in the top rack ;)

Is the top rack washed by the arm under the middle rack?

Impressive loading technique!

I’d honestly be surprised though, if any water makes it to the 3rd rack. The 3rd rack like itll steam clean only.
I await the results.

Bosch dishwasher Bob load

Where are the before pictures, many of those items couldn’t have been too dirty or they would not have gotten clean.

I think the bottom rack Dan would actually have gotten clean fine. There’s enough area for the water to get in there. The point Voyager machines washed very well in the bottom rack.

The one that concerns me is the middle rack with all those double stacked coffee mugs on the right side they couldn’t have had much in them. There’s just not enough water force up there if they had dried hot chocolate and coffee and such dried in them.

The plastic cutting board is over 15 yeears old and that encompasses that item being subjected to both Kenmore Elites form 2006 and 2015. I"m not going to replace because of stains from all those years ago. As for the 3rd rack, those 3 corning ware items are used too cook Malto Meal in the microwave without any nonstick spray or butter or oil. And those 3 sat for 3-5 days before the load was run. Clean results in the 3rd rack for those alone impressed me and could't not have been accomplished with either Kenmore Elites The Bosch is my 1s 3 rack dishwasher. With the poor cleaning results of dual level mugs on cup racks with the Kenmore Elites,(I had better results with cup shelf stacked mugs with the Potscrubber 1200) I was a jaded skeptic. But the Bosch has blown me away. Same with the Crock Pot slow cooker ceramic liner. Tje Bosch has better results than either Kenmore Elite. Had a similar crock pot that did just fine in the Potscrubber, the only frustration was trying to find a place to put it in the bottom of the GE. All my dishes used in this load were bought by my mom Spring of 1962 after moving into the new house September 1961. These dishes have been in my posession since fall 1974 with my 1st college apartment. They may be beat up and even the ceramic glaze is wearing off, but they fit very well in the Bosch. The best thing about the 2 Kenmore Elites was the bottom rack but the cleaning still dind't hold a candle to the Potscrubber in the long run. I was happy when the control board failed May 2021 in the Kenmore Elite and I could get a Bosch.

Impressive cleaning results.

Even more impressive you've been eating off of the same dishes for 63 years!

How I envy tall tub DWs. I took those cup shelfs out of any DW I ever had. Just couldn't fit anything useful there with a third rack.

That's one thing I love about tier 1 EU wash systems: If water can get there, it'll usually get clean.
Something about the low water plus good filtering and pretty high temps just works wonders with the very targeted spraying.

I've never loaded the dishwasher that full... but close to it...

anyway - about tall tub dishwashers... It's CRAZY how you get used to one and then I went to my grandma's house years ago when she was still alive and still had her standard Whirlpool from the 80s that I remember growing up with... when I went to load her dishwasher I freaking could not believe it... It felt so foreign and small... it almost wasn't anything like I remembered it being... it's crazy how you get used to a tall tub and then revisit a standard dishwasher and it's so shocking how small they feel in comparison..

I have memories of helping her clean the kitchen and loading that dishwasher packing it as full as we could...and I don't remember it feeling that small at all.. but it was ALWAYS that small... It's just that tall tubs weren't even a thing then...
