BOBLOAD France meets Italy

Hi guys! I was in the mood for cooking and I also experimented in preparing the Trianon (or Royal au chocolat, a very French recipe) for a (obviously) French friend of mine and between today and yesterday there was a lot of coocking, really an awful lot (not that I minded)
Hopefully my trusty dishasher is always there to help!
For this huge load I wanted to try the new (reduced size-same price) Finish (yes, Electrasol was a better name but since ever Finish has always been Finish!) tablets... but I'm going to let you judge if my load qualifies as a BOBLOAD!

And, no, I forgot to take pictures of the complete trianon! Shame shame shame on me! I can only share this piece that remained after the lunch who wants some?

Let's open the dishwasher!

Ok first thing you'll notice! The aluminium pans have started losing their enamelled outer finish (they said to not wash them in the dishwasher... but who cares?! The inside Teflon is like new!)

...maybe I had to put a bowel on top of the white dishes, isn't it? That would have given an uniform second layer even on this rack...

yup, the detergent really eats raight trough the enamelled aluminium!

(oh... BTW I did spaghetti alla carbonara as first dish and arrosto al barolo as second dish)

ops... I meant BRASATO al Barolo!
that should be braised beef cooked in Barolo wine.

This looks very like the current Hotpoint dishwashers on sale in the UK and Ireland.
Is this a Hotpoint-Ariston / Ariston ?

Eheh, yes, it is an Indesit DI623 (same interior as Ariston LF50X/620 or Indesit DI62X or IDL55X and DIF14A, with x indicating a random model number).
The machine (at the time, early 2007) was the cheapest available on the market and of course it found its way on a students' house!
I'm still amazed at how well it manages to clean on the standard cicle (72 minutes).

Ages ago, when i lived in a students' house we bought (40.000 lire = 20 €) a used late70ies built in rex-zanussi that was discarded. Loud as an airplane but washed as well as my parents'old miele
