It turns single phase into variable frequency 3-phase. You'd have control of speed with ramping and braking even. I agree that small extractor Jeff has is about right for home use.

Yes that is the same extractor pictured above... all 1780 RPM of it! This thing would be illegal on so many levels in a Laundromat today. Yes, but it also wouldn't have the lid safety switch defeated like the one in my video! Phil: Thanks and yes very true. However, by time bought, shipped and installed that 60 lb extractor, I'd be into it probably $5K or $6K. Just a teensy bit more then I can afford. That is a bunch of mortgage payments! Kevin
