another great dry bleach that is hard to find. I am going to do my best to get me some and I will share with AndrewinOrlando...he's a Borateem queen! LOL
Last I saw it has been reformulated. It's in a smaller box and the powder is lighter and fluffier. I love the smell of the Borateem from the '80s, although that's changed now, too.
It's actually not the same product. The previous was in a different box and it worked great. Now the new one I don't feel is that good. I liked the smell of the origional formular. I wish they would have continued with the origional.

I've found bunches of vintage Borateem, Amaze, Axion (my fave), Biz, etc. at the estate sales. For some reason, people didn't use it much and it just sat on the shelf.
The same company that makes Dial Soap, Right Guard, and other personal care products, also makes Purex, Purex 2, Purex Baby, Purex HE, Purex Powder, Purex Plus Renuzit, Zout, 20 Mule Team, Trend, Fels-Naptha, Sta-Flo, and Borateem. My mother used to use Borateem with the other products in the laundry, and it did a good job. I even remember the jingle back in the days when US Borax sponsored "Death Valley Days":
Borateem, Borateem
Get your clothes more than clean
Clothes stay fresh, can't offend
Clothes stay fresh with Borateem!
And to think I still forget where I put the car keys every day!
