Last night I decided to check out life in big cities of India. I consulted the Google about apt/co-ops. Some of the units were truly amazing. Most new or old units had beautiful wood working from trim to built in. But the tile work blew me away, some of the best I've ever seen and most that I could not afford in my own home. I focused on the low end apt just to see. I was kinda surprised that realitors were showing pre-owned units that really (REALLY) needed some cleaning. And some of the wiring was 'interesting' as well. If I understand correctly each home has an 'inverter' to correct voltages. Over here inverters usually are used to up the voltage and converters to lower, so not sure if I got that right. The other really wierd thing was the door locks, most seemed designed to lock someone in as opposed to keep someone out. The locks were very strong looking.
