A few days ago a family friend messaged me to ask for advice about her bosch that was filling but not tumbling. She decided to buy a new machine and offered me the bosch for free. I immediately ordered some brushes and repaired it as soon as I got home and sure enough it runs a treat!

I'll potentially keep it if it's any good seeing as my collection is small for the moment!

Good Find Darren - I have the 1000 model WFL2063

My Beko broke down in June, the programme dial failed and the PCB packed in, so decided to replace it with a second hand reconditioned Bosch washer. I have the Bosch Classixx 1000 WFL2063. Its a great machine.

It has the long 2 hour cotton wash cycles, but I use reduced time and rinse plus together to reduce the times to an hour for a cottons wash, and add on the rinse that reduced time takes off, giving a shorter reasonable wash with 3 rinses.

Its simple, easy to use, washes well and does its job with no fuss.

I've always liked the Bosch Maxx Range of Machines (1998-2006)

Heres the Ariel Tablets advert (2000) with Bosch Maxx machines for nostalgia :)
