I have a 2 year old Bosch dishwasher model SHE98M. Last night when running on Auto Super Wash, I noticed a message in the display that said "spray press high". I have never seen this before and this is the cycle that I normally use. Does anyone know what this means, I cannot find anything in the manual. Also, if anyone in the group has one of these machines, I would like to hear your experience and opinions about it.

Happy New Year

Did you see the message only during the wash or during the entire cycle?
How dirty where your dishes? I wonder if this was an information message that was saying that the Dw was using a higher spray pressure due to soil load or soil type?

I noticed it in the rinse cycle. Not sure if it was on during the whole cycle or not but it was a fairly dirty load. Am going to run another load tonight and see what happens. Hope it is just a feature of the machine and not a problem. Thanks for the input.

Ran another large, heavily soiled load last night on Auto Super Wash cycle and received the same "spray press high" message throughout the cycle. Machine seems to be funtioning fine and everything came out clean. Pulled filter and lower wash arm this morning and did not find any clogs or debris. Replaced filter and wash arm and started the machine on the regular Auto Wash cycle and so far have not seen the message. I have recently started pre-rinsing less prior to loading on the advice of several recent articles I have seen regarding this topic. I'm wondering if the machine goes into a high pressure spray when the load is heavily soiled.

I would welcome opinions on this topic as well as any experience or opinions anyone may have regarding this particular Bosch dishwasher model SHE98M.

It means the dishwasher automatically selected high spray pressure for your dirty load. It's part of the aquaVario system, which either selects high, normal or low pressure based on the sensed soil level.
