Hi everyone,
Just bought a Bosch sgs3042gb/03 dishwasher (not a fire affected model) and it is absolutely immaculate.
Was built around 2002ish, used by an old lady and replaced in 2004 when the new owners of the house put in an integrated one. Hardly any use- but 10 years of sitting doing nothing.
Come to plug it in at my girlfriends house and it fills as normal but when the water should be pumped around the dishwasher it just humms... I have been told this is the siezed motor shaft on the water seal, common problem apparently but I don't work on dishwashers a lot so not too sure.
My question is... Does anyone know how to get to it? If I remember rightly there's just a bottom access panel underneath that unscrews and you can get to it like that but I am just wanting to clarify this.
Regards, George
